BREAKING: GbaramatuVoice CEO wins again, named Niger Delta Most Outstanding Publisher of the Year

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the GbaramatuVoice Newspaper, Jacob Abai, has been named the Most Outstanding Publisher in the Niger Delta, by the Independent Newspaper Publishers Association of Nigeria (INPAN).

INPAN, a conglomerate of newspaper houses across the country made this known on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, during a courtesy call to GbaramatuVoice Warri office where the letter announcing the award was presented to Abai.

The group led by its President, Ebi Ozegbe, explained that the award was predicated on the candour and charisma, Abai have over the years displayed in achieving set goals in communication, information management, news gathering and dissemination as well as meeting the entertainment needs of the people.

The visiting INPAN executive stated that the award will be conferred on Abai during an elaborate ceremony billed for February 13, 2022 at the Nigeria Union of Journalists Secretariat, Ernest Ikoli Press Centre, Azikoro Road, Ekeki, Yenagoa, by 2:00pm prompt.

While noting that Abai’s vibrancy in the media and entertainment industry of the country have raised the stakes of human diversity in ways that currently speak volumes across the country, the delegation praised the GbaramatuVoice for his managerial sagacity that presently qualifies as unparalleled.

The visiting professionals stressed that such unique virtues and attribute possessed by GbaramatuVoice boss, necessitated his nomination by the group for the prestigious “Most Outstanding Publisher & Entertainer in the Niger Delta Award” by the Independent Newspaper Publishers Association of Nigeria (INPAN).

Responding, Abai thanked the visiting media colleagues for the visit and honour done to him by conferring on him the prestigious award.

He explained that the award will not only act as a tonic that will boost his contribution to media development in the country, but will go a long way to invigorate his quest and resolve to consistently pursue excellence and objectivity in news reportage and management.

Members of the INPAN entourage that visited GbaramatuVoice include; Ebi Ozegbe, President; Peace Sinclair, Vice President; Dei B. Badou, Secretary; Joy Emmanuel, Publicity/Organizing and Tolumaye Ayibabipo, Assistant Secretary.

It would be recalled that Jacob Abai, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GbaramatuVoice have in the past seven years of the newspaper’s corporate existence, received several awards from reputable corporate, religious and sociocultural organizations within the Niger Delta region, Nigeria and the world at large in recognition of the Newspaper’s superlative approach to news reporting and investigative journalism.
