[BREAKING] Gbaramatu kingdom set for groundbreaking ceremony of multi-million Naira youth development centre in Niger Delta 

The Gbaramatu Youth Council, GYC, the umbrella body of youths in Gbaramatu Kingdom, has announced the groundbreaking/foundation laying ceremony to launch the multi-million Naira “Gbaramatu Youth Development Center” in Oporoza town, Delta State.

This was made known in a statement made available to GbaramatuVoice on Tuesday and signed by the President, Comrade Shedrack Ebikeme.

He noted that the center that will be launched on Tuesday December 2, 2021, will be the best in Niger Delta.

Ebikeme explained that the center would train youths in various services such as ICT training, software development, digital marketing, website design/Hosting, Linus/Unix systems, Internet of things (IoT), resource Centre, etc.

According to the President, the centre will also offer services in craftsmanship and fabrication, entrepreneurship development, innovation programmes, career enhancement initiatives, electronics/robotics, facilitation of Foreign Direct Investments (FDI), among others.

“The centre is to prepare the youths of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Ijaw nation and Niger Delta to become competitive in the national and global space, in line with the emerging digital economy,” the President affirmed.
