Benikrukru community inaugurates 9-man electoral committee

The people of oil-rich Benikrukru community in Gbaramatu kingdom, Delta State, have inaugurated a nine-man electoral committee as part of preparations for the coming 2022 election in the community.

This was done on Friday, August 26, 2022 as the community executives led by Boan. Solomon Eris held their last meeting at the community townhall.

At the meeting, members of the electoral board were selected from the three quarters that made up the community

The electoral committee was chaired by Pastor Roland Ojogun; Engr. Ebitimi Pubowei, Secretary and Mr Victor Tonlagha who is the PRO.

Other members of the committee include, Mr Kingsley Gbenewei; Chief Ebike Anumuogharan; Mrs Edith Bright; Jacob Ebiebi; Apst. Emury Bekenawei and Mr Monday Ebime.

Those present at the meeting were: Amb. Elder Emmanuel Tonlagha; Chief Julius Ogoba; Chief Joseh Wuruyai, Executive chairman, Egbema Gbaramatu communities Development Foundation (EGCDF); Chief Godwin Olufemi, Amadiwei of Benikrukru Community; Chief Reuben Tonjoh; Apostle Johnson Bibogha; Chief Parish Imoun; Mr Austin Pudie, Chairman, Kenyagbene Community and a host of others.
