Their visit was to felicitate with the elder statesman on the occasion of his 92nd birthday.
Alubeze, who is known as a pragmatic politician for his grassroots popularity in Delta State, expressed his appreciation to God for preserving the life of Clark and for using him as a foremost torch bearer in Nigeria.
The distinguished legislator used the opportunity to recount how Clark has used his capacity and various offices to advocate for peace and sustainable development in the Niger Delta region right from the First Republic to the current political dispensation.
The leader who referred to the elder statesman as a symbol of peace, urged the Nigerian government to look into the issues raised by Clark in his Birthday Press Conference Address and ensure that the problem of insecurity in the country is given prompt attention.
“Daddy, you have worked hard and you are still working harder,” Alubeze said to Clark while delivering his goodwill message.
“The goodness of God upon your life cannot be overemphasized. As your children we pray that God continue to grants your more days and good health.”
