The founder of a Niger Delta based non governmental organization Dr. Godspower Tomone, of the One Love Community Development and Promotion of Peace Initiative, OLCDPPI, have again set to flood Ogulagha Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State to empower more youths across the Clan

Disclosing this to Gbaramatu Voice Newspaper, the Chief Executive Officer of the NGO, Tomone stated that the empowerment programme will allegedly take place at the Youbebe community town hall in Ogulagha Kingdom while alleging that the programme will take place on Saturday the 8th of October 2016

According to him, he alleged that over 70 youths spread across each of the communities in the Kingdom are already singled out to be empowered by the NGO.

Dr. Godspower stressed that the primary motive behind the formation of the non governmental organization was to contribute his quota in the Peace and development of the Niger Delta Region.

He noted that the region have so many idle youths that are not meaningfully engaged, emphasising that not all Niger Delta youths are beneficiaries to the Amnesty Programme initiated by the administration of former President Yara Adua.

Godspower, therefore appealed to the federal, state, local government and the multinational oil companies operating in the Niger Delta Region to partner with his NGO to fully actualize its set goals.

However, the CEO, maintains that over 200 persons are already part of the empowerment programme undergoing different processes and procedures, stating that beneficiaries are to acquire various skills and vocational training.

He particularly urged those enlisted for the programme to take advantage of the opportunity given to them while charging them to bring out their best.
