ABIA 2023: APC stakeholders in Arochukwu urge Chief James Ume to join guber race

The All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in the Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State have enjoined the Chairman/Founder of Unubiko Foundation, Chief James Ume, to contest the state’s governorship election in 2023.

This was contained in a statement signed by the former chairman of Arochukwu LGA, Hon Chief Jones Nnanna, saying that Ume is capable of uniting the party and winning the governorship race.

Also, the request of the stakeholders is hinged on the zoning arrangement which requires Abia North to produce the next governor of the state as the zone has not produced a governor since 2007.

“Please give this request a favorable response. Don’t say no to it because we shall not take that for an answer,” the statement read.

GbaramatuVoice writes that Ume is a businessman and a philanthropist. He is also the publisher of a popular online Newspaper, The WHISTLER.
