A ROYAL EXIT: PERE OF NGBILEBIRI-MEIN KINGDOM JOINS HIS ANCESTORS

The Pere-in-Council and the good people of Ngbilebiri-Mein Kingdom, with traditional headquarters in Kiagbodo, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State has announced the demise of their Royal Majesty, Pere Bigborogha II (JP, RFMIL).

This was contained in a release issued today by the Pere-in-Council which was jointly signed by Chief Senator (Dr.) E. K. Clark JP, OFR, CON, the Bebeare-Owei, Spokesman of the Ngilebiri-Mein Kingdom and Chief (Hon) Yerin Ekpedibo Terina (FCIM), Secretary, Pere-in-Council and made available to our correspondent.

According to the release, the sad event occurred on Wednesday 16th August, 2017.

The Pere-in-Council revealed that until his demise, he was a member of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council representing Burutu Local Government Area.

In the same vein, the statement pointed out that His Royal Majesty, S. H. Perekeme Bigborogha II, JP, OFR, CON, peacefully reigned for 36 years from 1981 to 2017.

Chief Edwin Clark further explained that this official announcement is made having fulfilled the laid down custom while adding that further details of his burial will be announced when the burial arrangement is concluded.

The Pere-In-Council finally stated that the entire kingdom shall miss His Royal Majesty whom they described as a bundle of wisdom.
