Dokubo said: “I went to Unical and after the second year, I failed. Went to another university and in the third year I failed and left again.”

He, however, pointed out that his failures did not deter him from achieving his ambitions in life as all his aspirations and ambitions he had in his childhood days he achieved it.

Speaking on the significance of remembering Boro Day, the former Niger-Delta agitator, stated that the deceased Niger-Delta agitator was not known for kidnapping or cultism but for his role in the emancipation of Niger Deltans. Thus, he urged the youths in Niger-Deltans to shun kidnapping and cultism.

Dokubo was of the view that if the youths of the Niger-Delta did not deviate from the path of Boro, they could have achieved a lot.

He also commented that Qatar, a fellow oil producing country like Nigeria has a much bigger GDP than Nigeria and he used the opportunity to task the Kalabari people to look inwards to solve their problems instead of blaming the government.
