ONDO – The paramount ruler of Tubutoru in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, His Royal Majesty, Pere Gbebokedi Ajirioba, Oguruyeke, Okirimini 1 of Tubutoru kingdom have on Tuesday this Week confers 13 chieftaincy titles to illustrious sons and daughters of the kingdom at Taribo community, the traditional headquarters.

It would be recalled that the Tuesday conferment of chieftaincy titles by Okirimini was the first since his enthronement as the revered monarch of the kingdom few months ago.

Speaking on the conferment, the paramount ruler admonished the new chiefs to see their conferment as a call to service, stressing that the appointment of chiefs is a gradual and perpetual thing.

According to him, the 13 newly appointed chiefs were representing all the communities in the kingdom, emphasising that they are enough for the first batch.

He also assured some chiefs that got their titles from other kingdom that he will retain them and will officially inaugurate them on 2nd of January 2017, while urging them to start working with him and the newly conferred chiefs before their official inauguration.

The Tubutoru monarch also charges his chiefs to be committed in promoting the kingdom and by extension the entire Ijaw nation.

Those conferred with various titles include Monday Ebiye, the Amadiwei /Wurutuwawei of Taribor community; Israel Biriemi Joshua, the Tori Puwei of Tubutoru Kingdom;  Hon. Otegha Ayebi, the Ibe Soweibiwei of Tubutoru Kingdom;
Omiyenjulate Emmanuel, Funpuwei of Tubutoru Kingdom; Andrew Buinte, the Ibe Uyadon-wei of Tubutoru Kingdom; Mrs. Miyendiye Elemi, the Doumiyen-Ere of Tubutoru Kingdom; Mrs. Mode Emmanuel, the Ibe Ebido-Ere of Tubutoru Kingdom; Monday Wilson, the Perediwei of Tubutoru Kingdom; Adams Wariugou, the Amadiwei of Gbenewei community; Mrs. Annu Francis Okolah, the Ibedi-ere of Tubutoru Kingdom; Happiness Ajirioba, the Tebudiwei of Tubutoru Kingdom; Joseph Uduboh, the Tonwei of Tubutoru Kingdom; Mrs.Perekebuna, the Gbana- Ere of Tubutoru Kingdom.
