ONDO AGOG AS PERE OF GBARAMATU TOURS IJAW KINGDOM

  • To offer prayers to the gods of the land and God Almighty

The popular Arogbo Ijaw kingdom in Ondo State has suddenly become a beehive of activities following the planned tour of the kingdom by the Monarch of Gbaramatu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oboro-Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba.

According to the details of his itinerary as released by the Palace Administrator and made available to our reporter, the planned visit shall commence on Thursday  28th September 2017 beginning with Arogbo Kingdom.

Stating further, the palace officials pointed out that this tour will avail the Monarch the needed opportunity to offer prayers to the gods of the lands and God Almighty.

GbaramatuVoice further learned that His Royal Majesty, Oboro-Gbaraun II will be praying for other intentions; for unity, peace, tranquility, and development in the kingdom.

Speaking in the same vein, our reporter who was part of the advance team, reported that the kingdom is already in festive mood occasioned by this all-important visit as the people have turned the visit to a carnival of a sort.

It could be recalled that Gbaramatu and Arogbo kingdoms share both historical as well as cultural background but were politically separated to two different states; Delta and Ondo states respectively, hence necessitating this periodic visit by the Monarch.
